EDI Organisation e.U. and St. Marien-Krankenhaus Ahaus Join Forces to Advance Medical Education
We are proud to announce the beginning of a strategic partnership between EDI Organisation e.U. and the Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology at St. Marien-Krankenhaus Ahaus, united by a shared vision of excellence in medical education, innovation, and patient care.
This collaboration begins with our OASIS Hands-on Workshop, bringing together international expertise, evidence-based education, and practical surgical training to improve the prevention and management of obstetric anal sphincter injuries.
We are especially grateful to Dr. Alexandra Nienhaus, Head of the Department, whose commitment to clinical excellence and education has been fundamental in establishing this partnership. We also sincerely thank Dr. Mahmoud Nadim, Deputy Head of Department, whose enthusiasm for innovation and international collaboration has played a key role in turning this vision into reality.
The OASIS workshop is only the beginning. Together, we aim to develop a long-term educational partnership offering advanced hands-on courses, international workshops, research initiatives, and innovative learning opportunities that empower healthcare professionals and ultimately improve patient care.

EDI Organisation e.U. is proud to enter into a strategic educational partnership with the Ain Shams Obstetrics & Gynecology International Conference (ASOGIC) — one of the established academic platforms in obstetrics and gynecology in Egypt.
Built on a shared commitment to education, scientific exchange and international collaboration, this partnership connects ASOGIC’s strong academic tradition with EDI’s growing European and international educational network.
The collaboration will begin at the 29th ASOGIC International Conference in Cairo, 15–16 October 2026, with new educational initiatives designed to engage physicians, encourage clinical excellence and create meaningful opportunities for knowledge exchange across borders.
Beyond the conference, ASOGIC × EDI represents a shared vision for the future: developing innovative educational formats, strengthening international faculty exchange, supporting the next generation of physicians and creating sustainable connections between medical communities in Egypt, Europe and beyond.
